Weekend lottery draws delivered several large prizes across Canada, including a $5-million Lotto 6/49 top prize, a $500,000 Lotto Max Extra top prize, and multiple second-place payouts. Winners came from Alberta, Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia.
The weekend’s results were split between Friday’s Lotto Max and Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 draws, with the next Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49 draws scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
Lotto Max: $500,000 Extra prize and two Ontario second-prize winners
Friday’s Lotto Max draw posted a $10-million jackpot that was not won. Two players from Ontario matched six of seven winning numbers, 06, 09, 13, 41, 43, 45, 48, with bonus number 34, and split the second prize. Each will receive $76,442.50.
A Lotto Max Extra top prize of $500,000 was claimed by a player in Delta, British Columbia, who matched all four Extra numbers: 27, 52, 56 and 90.

Lotto 6/49: $5-million top prize and an instant millionaire
Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 draw produced the weekend’s largest prize. A player in Alberta matched all six Classic Draw numbers, 10, 12, 15, 33, 34 and 45, with bonus 08, claiming the $5-million top prize.
The Gold Ball jackpot, set at $14 million for the draw, was not won. A Quebec ticket matched all the White Ball prize numbers, listed as 69649328-01, and became an instant millionaire. The Classic Draw second prize was split among three tickets from Surrey, Ontario, and Quebec, with each winner receiving $64,739.30.
