Other Ontario winners

OLG said additional Ontario tickets won significant prizes in the same draw. A Lotto Max second-prize ticket worth $141,315.10 was sold in Lanark County. Two Encore tickets each worth $100,000 were sold in Nepean and through OLG.ca.

Recent big wins in the province

The $15-million win follows several recent large Lotto Max payouts in Ontario. On Jan. 9 a $55-million winning ticket was sold in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell. A notable $80-million ticket was sold in London on Dec. 30, 2025.

Practical next steps for winners

If you hold a winning ticket, handle it as a legal instrument: sign the back, keep it secure, and contact OLG to begin the claim process. Large prizes typically require verification and identity documentation.
  • Sign the back of the ticket and store it in a safe place.
  • Do not share images of the ticket on social media.
  • Contact OLG directly to confirm prize amount and start the claim.
  • Consider financial and legal advice before public announcements or large transactions.

How Lotto Max works, briefly

Lotto Max draws seven main numbers plus a bonus number. Jackpots can roll over to increase between draws, and winnings in Canada are not subject to income tax. OLG publishes draw results and prize breakdowns on its website.
OLG has not released the exact retailer location in Brant County. Officials typically wait for a prize claimant to come forward before providing additional details about where a winning ticket was sold.
Ontario residents who regularly play should check their tickets against official results and follow OLG guidance for claiming prizes. For the latest information on this draw and other recent winners, consult the OLG website.
