A top-floor two-bedroom unit at 3033 Terravista Place in Port Moody sold for its $876,000 asking price after two days on the market. The listing attracted seven showings, produced two offers and closed Oct. 30.
The buyers were a couple relocating back to Metro Vancouver. The sellers, a young family, used proceeds to upsize within the same area, according to listing agent Cheryl Davie of Stilhavn Real Estate Services.
The sale
The property was listed Sept. 8 and sold Sept. 10, before the first open house. Ms. Davie said she received a backup offer as well. The quick sale, she added, came down to pricing and timing.
The transaction closed Oct. 30. Ms. Davie also assisted the sellers in buying a detached house nearby, a segment she described as very active and competitive at the moment.
What the unit offers
The unit is a top-floor two-bedroom at the Glenmore building. It benefits from a cathedral ceiling and large windows that overlook treed landscaping, giving the space more natural light and a sense of privacy.
- Covered balcony with treed views
- Updated kitchen and two renovated bathrooms
- Gas fireplace and laminate floors
- Walk-in closet and a separate laundry room
- Kitchen island, foyer and two full bathrooms
Monthly maintenance is $553.52 and annual property taxes were $3,040.48 at the time of listing. Top-floor two-bedroom units are uncommon in this building, which helped the listing stand out.
Agent perspective
So far, we’re seeing a lot of buyers who want to come to the table this year. I don’t feel that buyers are being nervous, I think those that are motivated to do something are hearing the message that there is a good opportunity in the market right now and understand that this won’t last forever.

Ms. Davie credited appropriate pricing for the fast sale. She said motivated buyers are acting quickly when they find well-priced, move-in-ready options, and that backup offers are becoming more common in competitive pockets.
Market context
Port Moody’s resale market has pockets of strength, especially for renovated units and desirable layouts. Buyers who need space but prefer low-maintenance condo living remain active, and homes that combine upgrades with privacy tend to draw attention.
For sellers, timing and pricing continue to matter. Listings that are positioned accurately against comparable units can generate multiple offers and sell quickly, even in a broader market that many perceive as shifting.
This sale illustrates that well-presented condos in desirable locations still move fast when they hit the market at the right price, and that buyers are prepared to act when they see value.
